Areas of Support
Nutrition and lifestyle support for
a range of health concerns
My clinical interests include metabolic and digestive health, women’s health, musculoskeletal health, fatigue and nervous-system wellbeing.
Health concerns rarely exist in isolation. Symptoms can be influenced by many interconnected factors, including nutrition, metabolic health, digestive function, hormonal health, sleep, stress and lifestyle.
Through nutritional therapy, naturopathy and health coaching, I explore these different influences and support you in making changes that are realistic, sustainable and individual to your needs.
Where appropriate, functional testing and relevant biomarkers may provide additional information to help build a clearer picture and inform a more personalised approach.

Functional Testing
Additional information when it can genuinely add value
Functional testing is not something everyone needs.
Where your symptoms, health history or response to nutritional and lifestyle changes suggest that further investigation could be useful, testing may provide additional information to help inform a more targeted approach.
Depending on the individual clinical question, this may include assessment relating to digestive and gut health, nutritional status, metabolic health, hormonal patterns or stress physiology.
I consider testing within the context of the whole picture: your symptoms, medical history, diet, lifestyle and any existing conventional investigations, rather than interpreting an isolated result on its own.
Before recommending a test, we can discuss why it may be useful, what information it may provide, its limitations and its cost, so that you can make an informed decision about whether it is right for you.
Functional testing complements, but does not replace, appropriate medical investigation or diagnosis.
Functional Laboratories I Work With
Where functional testing is appropriate, I have access to a range of specialist laboratories. The laboratory and test are selected according to the individual clinical question, rather than using the same testing panel for everyone.
Testing recommendations are individualised and discussed with you beforehand, including the purpose of the test, its limitations and associated costs.
Not sure whether I can help?
The areas above are not exhaustive. If you are experiencing a health concern that isn't listed, or you're unsure whether nutritional therapy, naturopathy or health coaching would be appropriate for you, we can explore this together.
